The second edition of Darey Love Like A Movie, has come and gone, but despite some technical glitches that threatened to mar the second edition, headliner Kelly Rowland still wowed Nigerians at Darey’s concert which held yesterday at the Ocean View Grounds of the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island Lagos.
Kelly Rowland stormed the stage cladded
in an Ankara Sequined dress before coming on stage to perform some of
her hit songs. She performed songs like Dilemma, Kisses down low, Motivation and other hit songs. The former Destiny’s Child singer also performed some classics of the girl group like Soldier, Survival and Independent Woman.
Darey Art Alade in another night
of fantastic and eye catching performances was not ready to let anyone
outshine him on his night. The singer supported by back up dancers and
stunt men wowed the audience with some audacious stunts. Darey dished
out performances of his hit songs and special rendition of some popular
love tunes.
Soul Muzik artistes Mo’eazy and Zainab
also had the chance to perform at the concert, as well as queen of pop
Tiwa Savage, amazing singers Timi Dakolo and Waje who both gave
outstanding performances. Dakolo gave his umpteenth heart wrenching rendition of the Michael Bolton classic, When a Man Loves a Woman, while Waje joined Darey for two excellent duets.
