Popular music maestro and ace entertainer, "Bongos Ikwue" has been appointed as the new chairman of the Nigerian Film Corporation, (NFC) board.
The veteran artiste was recently appointed by President Goodluck Jonathan to head the film corporation board.
His appointment comes after several
movie practitioners boycotted a media parley organised by the Nigerian
Film corporation recently to show their lack of confidence in the film
corporation’s newly-appointed MD, Danjuma Dadu.
70 year old Bongos is legendary for his music, especially for the creation of the soundtrack of popular TV drama series Cock Crow at Dawn.
And in-case you don't know, he was the first husband to the late first lady "Maryam Babaginda" before he lost her to the head of state, there is a rumor that they both had a child together way before the latter met her husband(Former head of state).
