POP SINGER "WIZKID" GAIN 1 MILLION FANS ON TWITTER,HE'S THE FIRST NIGERIAN ARTISTE TO ATTAIN SUCH POSITION.

Nigerian Singer, Wizkid, has blazed the trail once again by becoming the first Nigerian artiste to have one million followers on social micro-blogging platform, Twitter.

Wizkid hit the one million mark on February 19, 2014.

The EME act now holds the enviable record of the most popular Nigerian artiste on the social media with approximately 1,000,245 followers ahead of senior colleagues D’banj (816k), Don Jazzy (719k), 2face Idibia (686k), and actress Genevieve Nnaji (542k).

Wizkid who joined the micro-blogging platform on October 14, 2009 has tweeted 31,500 times. He’s following 1,206 people.

He’s also ahead of the pack on Instagram with over 150k followers.
