DBANJ AND P-SQUARE TOP 2012 MOBO AWARD NOMINATIONS.

The talked about and most anticipated award is here,the 2012 MOBO Awards nominations have been released and you’ll be proud to know that once again Nigerian acts have made the prestigious list.

On the list of nominations are Nigeria's top artiste Psquare and D’banj, both are up for the ‘Best African Act‘ category. They’ll battle for the prize alongside eight other African music stars .

The other acts include Fatoumata Diawara, The Very Best, Spoek Mathambo, Fally Ipupa, Sarkodie, Cabo Snoop, Camp Mulla and Amadou and Mariam.

Last year, D’banj, Afro beat singer Seun Kuti and pop sensation Wizkid were nominated in the same category with Wizzy clinching the title. In 2007, Idibia clinched the award followed by 9ice in 2008 and Nneka in 2009.

Nigerian-born act, Femi Temowo has also been nominated for ‘Best Jazz Act‘.

The awards show will hold on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Echo Arena, Liverpool, UK
