With great anticipation from the last edition that was held in Lagos,the organizers had laid out the date of the auditions which will be kicking off for the Season II of NIGERIA IDOL.
Aspiring music stars now have the opportunity to get their voices heard by millions of viewers who love the show.
There is a new judge on the show this season as Charles [Charly Boy] Oputa
joins Yinka Davies and Jeffrey Daniel for Season II. According to Season 1
Judge and Chocolate City CEO, Audu Maikori, “Nigerian Idol is an exciting
brand to work with and I enjoyed myself immensely. I am sure all the
judges will have blast in Season II.” Popular female musician Tiwa Savage
and Veejay Ill Rhymz also join the show as hosts. The winner’s package
this year, including management fee, record label contracts and the prize
money has been increased to the value of $100, 000. Each of the runners-
up and top ten finalists also get mouth watering consolation prizes.
The popular show starts with auditions in four cities across the country;
Abuja, Lagos, Port- Harcourt and Enugu. The show begins airing 4th
December, until the winner is announced at a grand gala on April 1st 2012.
Nigerian Idol is brought to you by Etisalat, in association with Pepsi and
Sony. It is also supported by partners, Air Nigeria and Beat FM.

PORT HARCOURT: 14th and 15th October, Presidential Hotel
ENUGU: 28th and 29th October, Universal Hotel
LAGOS: 4th, 5th and 6th November, Dream Studios (Bamako Street, Across
Omole Phase 1)

1. Complete the Registration form at http://nigerianidol.com/registration
2. Confirm your Audition location, by sending an SMS from your Etisalat
line with your FULL NAME & PREFERRED AUDITION CITY to 5599.
3. Show up at the audition venue with the ETISALAT SMS confirmation, a
printed copy of your application form and 2 passport photos.
