The secret court wedding that had couple of friends and families of the newest couple in town in attendance was held at Ikoyi registry.

This finally nailed a coffin on the rumour making the rounds then that Oby and Alex O are dating, and you will recall that the handsome dude, who got us dancing back in the days with Pretty women, one of his old classics, sang and produced the sound tracks of Oby’s cancer movie titled ‘Save our Soul’, the collaboration that actually sent tongues wagging.

It was all ruff and tumble on Monday November 7,2011, as Rapper "MI" and Apako master "TERRY G" took shot at each other on twitter.

MI asked a question"Pls.. What does akpako mean?" "So apparently.. Terry G alone understands the deep mysteries of akpako.." MI tweeted

Terry G apparently didn't get it or thought he was being made fun of replied with curse "@MI_Abaga Africa DanGba nomba 1,short dwarf,u 4 try ask me naaa,wat do u fink,chop chicken!!"

In case you wondering what he meant by "chop chicken" He explained it "Anybody who doesn't wish U well,tell dem "CHOP CHICKEN nd die"


But MI isn't ready to start beef with the akpako master, so he asked his twitter followers to stop fueling beef talk.

MI also admits he messed up in his tweets about Terry G's catchphrase and song title "akpako"

He tweeted

"MI_Abaga @Fagsam I didn't mean any disrespect... I really didn't know what 'akpako' meant.. And then everyone was like terry g terry g..

Its a game of shame and a mess Or what can be best explain this gist, that Alapomeji records boss involving himself in a public fight with a fan at a birthday bash he went to recently?

Just a couple of weeks back, it was Ruggedman and Goldie that both engaged a fan on twitter on a fight of words, where they both threw their status as celebrities and role models into gutters and gave the fan words of his life, using various industrial languages at their available at their disposals.

According to this gist getting to us from a source, and was confidently divulged to us, we were told that 9ice had taken a time out to visit a birthday bash of one Ehis, where he was invited to by one of Ehis’ friends. The party was done on Joseph Street, Opebi, Ikeja, last week.

The excited Ehis, seeing 9ice at his party, hailed the estranged Oko (hubby in Yoruba language) Toni Payne, but this Gongo Aso crooner snubbed him.

This action by 9ice, as was hinted, angered the celebrant, Ehis, who angrily told 9ice that he was not hailing him to beg money from him, and that he was just a fan who buys his CDs for N1500, he should not be treated anyhow as a true fan of his.

He went further, as said by the source, Ehis told 9ice that he was not a poor guy, and that he could buy 9ice a drink if he wanted one. At this point, 9ice was said to have landed heavily on the guy with a hot and sumptuous slap, when he taught that the guy don jabo or over-yan (insulted).

This act we heard did not go down well with Ehis, who retaliated with his, and a fight ensued between the singer and his fan. This, we learnt generated crowd, but the situation was said to have been quickly curtailed when they were both separated.

Popularly acclaimed Afro-pop star "Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo" DBANJ, has since his break into the Nigerian music scene in 2005, managed to live a scandal free life.

Not so many people believed that he would go this far in the entertainment world, especially with his introduction of the word, 'KOKO", which many have given many meanings to, without leaving a life full of scandals and many girls coming up to him with contours ranging from one to nine metres above the sea level around the stomach area, like his master in the game.

Late king of Pop, "Michael Jackson"s adopted daughter, Paris Jackson, 13, was a guest on "Ellen DeGeneres show", where she promoted her first acting role and the book that the movie is based on. Paris who was a substitute for troubled actress Lindsay Lohan, blew off her scheduled appearance on Ellen today.

Paris will star in an upcoming live action-animated film called “Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys,” based on the young adult fantasy book series by Dennis H. Christen.

According to her publicist, Paris wanted to do the film because half of its and the book’s profits will support schools, and because of its environmental message, a cause Michael Jackson espoused as well.

In the interview she says Michael Jackson inspired her interest in acting.

Michael would do improvisation exercises with Paris, she says.

“He would give us little scenarios. He would say, ‘O.K., in this scene you’re going to cry,’ and I’d cry on the spot.”

When asked about wearing a mask in public, a practice Michael enforced to protect his children from media attention, Paris says, “I’m like, this is stupid. Why am I wearing a mask? But I kind of realized the older I got, like, he only tried to protect us, and he’d explain that to us, too.”

Just recently,Nolly-wood Star actress, "Stella Damasus" has just dissociated herself from any quarrel with the family of her late husband "Jaiye Aboderin" over her absence at an event to kick off his fourth remembrance programme.

The event which took place on Monday,December 5,2011,at the Oriental Hotel,Lagos,was part of the Aboderin’s plan to announce a yearly musical talent hunt show in honour of the late Jaiye,who until his death was a soulful musician.

In a recent chat with a Nigerian soft-sell magazine,Stella Damasus was quoted: “ I am really not in the mood to say anything about this issue because I feel it’s better I keep quiet about it.But I am not having any problem or going to join any issue with the family over anything".

I have kept quiet all the while because I respect Jaiye so much.I just want everything to rest and not be misquoted or misrepresented at any occasion.I hope everybody respects my decision”


On their part,the Aboderin family’s spokesman,Tunde Obe said ,” We have not staged any event to celebrate Jaiye.What happened at the Oriental Hotel was a press briefing to introduce a talent hunt show in honour of Jaiye.So,we invited the press and also invited Stella Damasus.But if she has decided not to come,we do not see anything wrong with that,because she has remarried and she has every right to do so because she is still young and got her life ahead of her.

So when the event proper comes up on December 16,we are going to invite her.She can,however,decide to come or not to come”


According to sources,Stella Damasus may also have absented herself from the event because she is now occupied with taking care of her mum,who recently underwent an eye surgery and this has affected her public appearance.

It would be recalled that in March 2009,the mother of two children,Stella got married to her second husband,Emeka Nzeribe and had since then been referred to as Stella Damasus Nzeribe.
