Barely 72hs after the demise of American Boxing Legend "JOE SMOKING FRAZIER"deaths filter the internet.

US/Jamaican American Actor,Rapper Heavy D collapsed in his Beverly Hills home Tuesday morning and died a short time later at a Los Angeles hospital, according to police and the coroner. He was 44.

Heavy D, whose real name is Dwight Arrington Myers, was found conscious with difficulty breathing at his home after police were called there at 11:25 a.m., the Beverly Hills police said in a news release.

He was pronounced dead in the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Tuesday afternoon, according to Los Angeles County coroner's operations chief Craig Harvey. The cause of death has not been determined, Harvey said.

Myers actually regained consciousness and was speaking while being transported to the hospital but he died moments later. Heavy D was only 44 years old. The news comes just a month after he performed a medley of his hit songs at the 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards. Authorities say there are no obvious signs of foul play.

The rap community took to Twitter to send condolences to the family, here’s what Lupe Fiasco wrote, “RIP Heavy D...God Bless!!!” We’ll keep you posted.

Common tweeted, “Heavy D was...no...is one of Hip-Hops finest. Your art and contribution will live 4ever brother.”

Nelly tweeted, “My blessings and heart go out to the family of my MAN HEAVY D! #RIPHEAVYD!!!WOW WAD A SAD DAY 4SHO.”

Keyshia Cole added, “Heavy D passed away! Aww man. I'm soo sorry to hear that.”

Usher wrote, “This is too heavy, I can't believe it. HEAVY D was just here. Truly gone too soon. My heart and support goes out to his family. R.I.P HEAVY.”

His hip-hop recording career began in 1987 with his group Heavy D & the Boyz and on his first album he released the hit single "The Overweight Lover's in the House." Another one of his breakthrough hits came in 1991 with a remake of the O'Jays' "Now That We Found Love."

Heavy D's rapping was featured on Janet Jackson's 1990 hit "Alright."

He rapped on Michael Jackson's 1991 hit "Jam," which he performed at last month's Michael Jackson tribute show in Cardiff, Wales.

He also composed and performed the theme songs several television shows, including "In Living Color," "MADtv" and "The Tracy Morgan Show."

His last CD, "Love Opus," was released this year.

Heavy D also pursued an acting career, which included mostly roles on TV shows and movies.

He played a courthouse guard in the Eddie Murphy film "Tower Heist," released last weekend.

He used his Twitter account Monday night to express sadness about the death of boxer Joe Frazier:

"SMOKIN JOE FRAZIER..RIP.. truly one of the best heavyweight champs that ever lived.. GODS SPEED,MR FRAZIER!"

Heavy D's last Twitter message, posted late Monday, was: "BE INSPIRED!"

The Former Heavyweight Champion JOE "SMOKING" FRAZIER ,who handed Muhammad Ali his first defeat yet had to live forever in his shadow, has died after a brief fight with liver cancer.

The family issued a release confirming the boxer's death.

Frazier, who took on Ali in three momentous fights in the 1970s - including the epic 'Thrilla in Manilla' - had been under home hospice care in his Philadelphia home after being diagnosed just weeks ago with the cancer that took his life.

'I will always remember Joe with respect and admiration,' Ali said in a statement about the death of his great rival. 'My sympathy goes out to his family and loved ones.'

The 1970s rivalries of Frazier, Ali and George Foreman will always be remembered as a golden age of heavyweight boxing.

Boxing promoter Don King called Frazier a giant among men.

'Smokin' Joe', as he became known, was a small yet ferocious fighter who smothered his opponents with punches, including a devastating left hook he used to end many of his fights early.

It was the left hook that dropped Ali in the 15th round at Madison Square Garden in 1971 to seal a win in the so-called 'Fight of the Century.'

Though he beat Ali in that fight, Frazier lost the two other bouts between the men and for many years was bitter about the role Ali forced him to play as his foil.

'You can't mention Ali without mentioning Joe Frazier,' said former AP boxing writer Ed Schuyler Jr. 'He beat Ali, don't forget that.'

They fought three times, twice in the heart of New York City and once in the morning in a steamy arena in the Philippines.

They went 41 rounds together, with neither giving an inch and both giving it their all.

In their last fight in Manila in 1975, they traded punches with a fervor that seemed unimaginable among heavyweights.

The boxing great passed away last night Monday, November 7, 2011.He was 67.

After six weeks of facing trial, personal physician to the late mgea pop star Michael Jackson, Dr Conrad Murray has been found guilty for the crime of involuntary manslaughter. Presiding Judge Michael E. Pastor called upon the jury to give their verdict today Monday, November 7, 2011.

On February 8, 2010, Murray had pleaded not guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter over the death of Michael Jackson who died on June, 25, 2009 after suffering from Cardiac arrest. Murrary was released after posting a $75,000 bail. His trial officially started in September 27, 2011.

‘I want to thank you for performing your civic duties‘, Judge Pastor told the members of the Jury.

Autopsy reports state that Jackson, 51 had died of acute propofol intoxication after he suffered cardiac arrest at his home in the Holmby Hills neighborhood in Los Angeles.

FREED AT LAST......"BABA SUWE" GOES HOME A FREE MAN.

After spending over 24 days in detention made by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDELA), Nolly wood actor Babatunde Omidina "Baba Suwe" has been released.

He walked out of the court a free man this morning Friday, November 4, 2011 after an Ikeja High Court ordered his release.

The comedian had been in NDLEA custody for over three weeks, after he was apprehended enroute to France and alleged to have narcotic substances in his belly.

He was placed under watch by the NDLEA and his excreta monitored whilst his travails were the laughing stock and eventually outrage of an entire Nation where nothing apparently seems to work properly including Drug Scanning Machines.

Following the November 1, 2011 hearing that Baba Suwe would be granted bail today Friday, November 4 if he didn’t excrete the suspected substances in his system; and having met the bail conditions (one surety and the sum of N500, 000); Justice Y.O Idowu ordered the actor be released to his family at once.

Baba Suwe who arrived the court at about 8. 52 am in close company of the NDLEA officials had briefed his lead counsel Babatunde Aturu before the hearing commenced, on how the anti graft agency took him to a Hospital in Victoria Island, Lagos, on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 where series of “animalistic” tests were carried out on him.

Omidina’s lawyer, who was apparently furious about the move presented the matter before the judge with repugnance, stating neither the agency nor its counsel notified him (Aturu) or his client (Baba Suwe) before proceeding with such tests.

“They put something inside my mouth; another in my anus and they pumped water through it. Since then, I have been going to the toilet till today,” pale-looking Omidina explained to the Judge when asked to talk.

A displeased Justice Idowu, who condemned the agency’s move and described it as inhumane questioned one of the NDLEA officials who was part of the team that led Baba Suwe to the hospital. She demanded to know who ordered that the tests be carried out; and berated the agency’s counsel for claiming not to be aware of such gross steps taken by his client.

“That’s not right; you’re handling a human being not a robot,” the judge condemned.

NDLEA counsel Femi Oloruntoba however pleaded that he would ensure to get a full report of what transpired at the hospital and summit to the court before the judgment day.

Oloruntoba also requested that Baba Suwe reports to the NDLEA Muritala Muhammed International Airport office on November 11, 2011 for further investigations. The judge granted it after he promised the actor won’t be held for more than two hours.

However, Baba Suwe’s international passport was released to the court by the agency and Justice Idowu ordered it to be kept in the Chief registrar’s care until the case is terminated.

Baba Suwe shed tears as the judge announced that he should be let go to join his family for the Sallah festival.

“I wish you well. Take good care of yourself,” the judge enjoined Baba Suwe.

Speaking to journalists, Bamidele Aturu (Baba Suwe’s lawyer) says he’s pressing charges against the NDLEA for damages.

“We thank the Nigerian people for standing by Mr Omidina in the time need. Omidina was traveling out of Nigeria just like any other Nigerian citizen. He was grabbed at the airport and locked up for 24 solid days without any evidence. We’ll sue the agency for damages of course.”

However, Baba Suwe’s colleagues, friends and fans who were gathered at the court premises chanted songs of victory as his counsels led him out of the court room.

Omidina was arrested at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 while attempting to depart Lagos for Paris on a 10pm scheduled Air France flight AF3051, after the NDLEA suspected he had ingested substances believed to be Cocaine.

The fans repeatedly hailed him in a dubbed name; “O Ya'gbe Ti” – meaning “the one who has refused to pass faeces.”

“Nothing I can say more than to thank almighty Allah for the victory. Let’s accept it as destiny,” Yoruba actor Adewale Elesho tells journalists.

The final judgment has been penciled for November 24, 2011.
