POP ICON "TUFACE IDIBIA" IS NOT EXPECTING BABY NO.6, SUED ICON MAGAZINE FOR 100MILLION NAIRA.

Words:Adedosuv 'kenzy' Adekunle

When news broke of 2face’s alleged romance with Teniola (a Lagos banker), social media, critics and pundits went hard on the pop icon. The unconfirmed story published by Lagos based ‘Icon Weekly Magazine’ rode on the singer’s reputation as a womaniser and serial baby daddy. But 2face, who has since settled down with Annie Macauley simply dismissed the story as a rumour that wouldn’t ruin his marriage.

The Alleged Story ‘Icon Weekly can authoritatively inform you that as you read this, a young lady who works for one of the new generation banks, Teniola, is three months pregnant for this prince of African music! Did that hit you like Mike Tyson’s punch! Wait, more is coming. We gathered that Teniola who hails from Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State has been 2face’s account officer for a long time now. Did you say this sexual relationship could have been going on before his marriage? Teniola, a graduate of University of Lagos might just be another victim of the pressures marketers in the banking sector face to lure customers with everything they have, if you know what I mean.

The worst part of the story is that 2baba wants the pregnancy terminated! Our source revealed to us that he has been begging Teniola with a brand new car to get rid of the pregnancy and keep this scandal out of media radar. Has he stopped counting his children? I guess it is time to ask 2baba. Tuface Idibia has become notorious for making several children with different women who are not his wives! Tuface is the celebrity who has made Baby Mama culture the new norm in Nigeria.

When he decided to settle down with Annie, one of his Baby Mamas, many of his fans and critics were happy that finally he would become more responsible and sexually focus on his legal wife, Annie, but the latest report filtering into town concretely suggests that marriage cannot change this Benue born singer.’ 2face and Annie response Shortly after the news went viral, 2face in a series of tweets vehemently denied the allegation. He took to his twitter handle and wrote ‘The whole world knows I’m an open book. If anything happen, na me go first tell una’. He went on to write ‘Everybody make una see fake blog @africancelebspy with fake news trying to soil my reputation. God go judge una’. In another tweet, he sarcastically wrote ‘Ok make I give them news, I don give 8 virgins belle. How about that’. All through, 2face’s wife Annie never for once doubted her husband; she stood by him all through and even tweeted saying ‘people are trying to ruin their happiness’.

The 100m Naira lawsuit Not wanting his reputation to be tarnished, 2face sought to address the issue legally by slamming a hundred million naira lawsuit against ‘Icon Weekly magazine’. Sources told KREST that 2face sued the soft-sell magazine, ‘Icon Weekly’ for libel over the story they published claiming he impregnated a female banker in Lagos, just a few months after his elaborate marriage in Dubai.

Sources at the Ikeja High court revealed that Innocent ‘2face’ Idibia filed libel proceedings against the soft-sell magazine ‘Icon Weekly’, seeking the court to award him the sum of #100,000.000 (One Hundred Million Naira) as damages for the libellous publication posted on the magazine’s online and print platforms. Icon Weekly pleads with 2face, The weekly magazine has since tendered an apology to the star. According to Idibia’s label 960 Music group, ‘Icon Weekly has in a letter dated July 20, 2014, tendered an unreserved apology’. ‘Please note that the 960 Music Group offers Funding, Marketing, Promotions, Distribution and Label Management Services. Protecting our clients’ Intellectual Property and reputation are paramount as brand guardians.

The 960 Music Group will not tolerate Slander, Libel or any Intellectual Property infringements against our brands, artistes and/or Music. 2face looks forward to being allowed to focus on the business of making the music you have come to love him for, and thanks to his fans for their continued support’....

SUPERSTARS "DAVIDO AND WIZKID" STILL AT LOGGHEADS.

Words: Adedosu 'kenzy' Adekunle

Barely 24hours after Davido‘s attempt to clear the air on any issue between himself and Wizkid, the feud between them seems to be unending as Wizkid threw all caution to the wind in his latest tweet today where he wrote ‘Dumb Niggas catch feelings! We just tryna make it over here! Nobody got time for that! ATL turn up!’ .

Wizkid clearly didn’t mention names in the tweet, but going by what’s transpired between both parties in the last 4 weeks, it’s clearly another shot at Davido. Recall that Davido, in an interview yesterday with Sahara TV attempted cleared the air on his grouse with Wizkid saying ‘it’s not beef at all, but I’m the type of person if I feel something you do me is bad, I’ll speak up, you don’t hit your brother down. ‘This is the first time I’m saying this, but the only reason I was upset was because of the NY (New York) concert. I was even going to tweet that ‘make sure everybody turns up for my brother Wizkid’s concert’, and he threw a shade like that. ‘I’m not going to take that, that’s why I said what I said. But its all cool, at the end of the day, we got to keep it on the music. Shout out to him. I’m still a big fan. It was never nothing but don’t throw a shade at me, especially when we were on the flight earlier. By the way, check the numbers on my last concert. Let’s leave it like that’.

This is surely not the last we would hear from these two superstars....

Dear Fans and Media Reps: Apology Letter to YSG Entertainment Limited. I hope this meets you well. It is no secret that the last 12 months have been the most turbulent of my music career. With regards to the lingering issues about which I have been mute, I, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun popularly known to you as Vector Tha Viper, wish to state the following; YSG Entertainment Ltd without any doubt, gave me the platform to show case my talent to the world. It is true we had misunderstandings on issues concerning my engagement with them. There’s an existing Federal High Court injunction preventing me from doing what I love to do and this serves me and my fans no good. However, we have entered into a settlement to have the injunction lifted. That by reason of irreconcilable differences, my Record Contract Agreement with YSG Entertainment Ltd has been aborted. That being said, in the spirit of good faith and a show of unreserved commitment to settle these issues amicably out of court, I have sought and obtained permission from the label to pay off the discounted recoup-able expenses as contained in the Terms of Settlement in this regards. I would also like to apologize to the management of YSG Entertainment Ltd for any embarrassment occasioned by my conduct and whatever damage it may have suffered as a result of the slander and libel as portrayed by the media in this regard. These issues were exaggerated by the media as I hold YSG Entertainment Ltd in high esteem. I also appreciate the leniency afforded me by discounting the recoup-able expenses for me. I wish the company well in all their endeavours. Thank you. Signed: Olanrewaju David Ogunmefun....

LATE POP ICON "MICHAEL JACKSON" NEVERLAND HOME TO BE SOLD.

Words:Adedosu 'kenzy' Adekunle

The Santa Barbara property will reportedly be put on the market by Colony Capital – who own a primary stake in the estate – after buying out the late singer’s $23 million mortgage to save it from foreclosure in 2008 – in order to recoup the debt they are owed on the house.

A source told RadarOnline.com: ‘Colony Capital has the legal right to sell the property to pay down the debt they are owed from the loan, interest, management fee and maintenance costs.’ The property is worth around $27 million, but insiders believe it could fetch as much as $60 million because of its famous former owner. Officials from Michael’s estate said they are ‘saddened’ by the news of the sale but insist they plan to keep the legacy of the ‘Thriller’ hitmaker – who died of acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009 – going strong at his other former home.

They said in a statement: ‘We are saddened at the prospect of the sale of Neverland which, under the agreement negotiated during Michael’s lifetime, Colony has the right to sell. The estate will maintain Michael’s family home in Encino, including its iconic recording studio there. ‘[We will] continue to build upon Michael’s legacy as an artistic genius and humanitarian through his music and new projects such as the Michael Jackson ONE show in Las Vegas.’

The estate went on to appeal to any buyers of Neverland to respect the ‘historical importance’ of the property. They added: ‘We hope and trust that any new owners of Neverland will respect the historical importance and special nature of this wonderful property. Michael’s memory lives on in the hearts of his fans worldwide.’ And the officials told fans they had ‘explored’ a number of ‘potential options’ for the ranch. However, they added: ‘Zoning, financial and land use restrictions limited the alternatives and ultimately Colony made the decision to sell.’

A source added: ‘Efforts were made to keep Neverland, and Michael’s estate tried to make it happen. However, they were unable to come to an agreement.’ Michael bought the 3,000 acre property in 1988 and lived there until his child molestation trial in 2004...
