GALATASARAY FC PLAYER "DEDIER DROGBA" AQUIRES A $74MILLION GOLD MINE.

 Ivorian footballer and Galatasaray FC striker Didier Drogba has reportedly bought a 5 per cent stake in his country’s largest mining company.

The former Chelsea forward according to African Review paid $74 Million to acquire part of the state’s shares in the company.

Drogba had expressed interest in purchasing the stakes at the state owned mine last March but encountered difficulties sealing the deal. It took the intervention of the country’s president Alassane Ouattara before the deal was concluded last Friday.

Popular comedian, Basketmouth has denied rumours that his recent trip to London was to get away from the recent backlashes that have trailed his ‘rape joke’.

Speaking in an interview in London, the funny man claimed that he had already booked his flight for London before the incident occurred.

Definitely I am sorry about what happened. The people that it offended…I won’t say the people that misunderstood but the people that it offended. It’s not like I left Nigeria because of that, I already booked my ticket since three months ago’, Basketmouth said.

Last week, the ace comedian tendered an apology after receiving a lot of criticisms for his ‘Rape Joke’ which instantly went viral online.

  A new year a new beginning for Nigeria pop star "TUFACE IDIBIA" as he is expanding his investments in hospitality, with the launch of his Rumors Nite Club in FESTAC Town, Lagos.

Said to be worth over N250 Million, the club which opened its doors in the New Year to fun seekers, is an extension of 2face’s club in GRA, Ikeja under the same.

A source who spoke to journalists, said that the building of the club commenced sometime in late 2012 and was completed in December 2013.

Idibia’s business partner Dotun Omotoye told our repoter ‘We are only test running the place and waiting for the completion of the 1000 guest capacity event center before we open officially in February’.

Omotoye confirmed to us that over N250 million has been expended on the project.


He told Punch in an interview of his plan to go in full throttle into night club business. ‘I am not only an artiste, I’m also an entrepreneur. I want to make the night club a model like Jay-Z’s Club 40/40. I want to have my clubs in major cities in Nigeria and one in South Africa, Europe and the US.’

Since birthing in Festac Town, Rumors has already become a hotspot for night crawlers especially around the Festac Town vicinity. The club will officially be opened in February with Victoria Island as its next target location.
